2025 W-2s Former Employees
Former employees: You can view, download, and print your W-2 through ADP. Please note that you will need to input your full name, date of birth, and social security number. For detailed instructions, please visit the Accessing Your W-2 Through ADP Job Aid.

Accessing Your W-2 in Workday
We are excited to announce that 2025 W-2s are now available on Workday. To access your W-2, follow the steps below or the Accessing Your W-2 in Workday Job Aid for detailed instructions.
- Log into Workday: Workday
- Using the Menu, access the “Benefits and Pay” portal.
- Click on "My Tax Documents."
- You can review, download, and print your 2025 W-2 by selecting "View/Print."

Student Enter/Edit Time (Clock In/Out)
As a student employee, you will record your time in Workday. The links below are guides for student employees who clock in and out and have the ability to edit their time. Time should be submitted by 10AM the Monday of the pay week. Hours submitted after deadline will be processed on the next student payroll, creating a possible 2 week delay.

How do I update tax withholding?
You can now update your federal AND state tax withholding elections in WorkDay. For detailed instructions use the following link:

If you prefer to submit a paper Form W-4 into the Payroll Office print the following:
Virginia State tax
To update your Virginia income tax withholdings, you must submit Form VA-4 to the Payroll Office.

Lost or stale dated checks
If an University of Richmond pay check is lost or was never received contact the Payroll Office to request a reissue check. Please allow at least two weeks from the check date before requesting a reissue, unless there is reason to believe the check has been stolen or misappropriated.
Please provide following information when requesting reissue of the lost check:
- UR identification number
- Last four digits of your social security number
- Check amount and check date
Stale dated checks are over 180 days from the issue date and must be returned to be reissued.
Checks that remain uncashed, one year after date issued, are reported the State Treasurer as unclaimed property.
